Artistic director and performer

Action and movement art is defining Vivian Friedrich as a physical performer, stunt actress and circus artist. Coming from an ancient glass maker family, also known as Bohemian glass makers, her work is influenced by the fascination for forms and reflections.

She studied between Hamburg, Barcelona and Tilburg (NL) and complemented her formation with the Dramaturgy Certificate of CNAC (FR) and ESAC (BE).

As a circus artist she has specialised in the static cloud swing creating her own style and language by mixing with other techniques.  From 2017 to 2021 Vivian has been the curator of the “Dramaturgy Exchange Days” at La Central del Circ and as a researcher she has been invited to encounters at Ateneu de Nou Barris, the Independent Theater Festival in Barcelona and the 4#Encounter of Circus Dialogues. In 2022 she premiered her piece Kristall Bohème [Excavation of a Memory] at the Mercat de les Flors, rediscovering the glassmaker tradition of her family.
